Fitness. Confidence. Community. Outside.

Outdoor fitness and health education designed for kids ages 6–13 in Visalia parks.

Strong bodies. Strong habits. Strong character.

Fit Visalia is for active kids, quiet kids, kids who love sports, and kids who have never played one. Walking, balancing, carrying, climbing, running relays, and solving challenges as a group all count. We keep it simple, make it fun, and help kids build the habit of moving.

Meet the Belknap Family

Family is the heartbeat of Fit Visalia. My wife, Robbin, and I are blessed with four awesome kids who inspire this program every day. They bring their own personalities, strengths, and smiles — and they love helping other kids feel welcome.

    Scott

    FOUNDER

  • Smiling woman with dark shoulder-length hair, wearing a black fuzzy sweater and light-colored pants, sitting on a striped blanket on a beige couch with beige pillows and a plain cream wall behind her.

    Robbin

    THE ENCOURAGER

Robbin is the heart of our home. She loves connecting with others, cheering on every child, and creating a joyful, uplifting environment wherever she goes. Kids instantly feel loved and included when she’s around.

  • A young girl with curly hair, wearing a headband, earrings, and a patterned dress, standing outdoors with buildings blurred in the background.

    Genevieve

    THE BRAVE LEADER

Genevieve leads with courage and kindness. Whether she’s climbing, running, or helping a friend, she gives her best and encourages others to do the same.

  • A young girl with long blonde hair wearing a beige wide-brimmed hat, a green vest, and a striped white and black shirt outdoors with blurred trees in the background.

    Marilyn

    THE CREATIVE EXPLORER

Marilyn brings imagination and adventure into everything she does. She loves new challenges, makes friends effortlessly, and helps younger kids feel brave trying new activities.

  • A young boy with dark hair smiling outdoors, wearing a turquoise and red Levi's shirt.

    Winston

    THE DETERMINED COMPETITOR

Winston loves competition and pushing his limits — but he also knows how to cheer on everyone around him. He brings determination, grit, and big energy to our fitness adventures.

  • Franklin Belknap

    Franklin

    THE ENERGETIC OPTIMIST

Franklin has a contagious enthusiasm. He’s quick to smile, quick to play, and always ready to help others have fun — especially during group games and relay races.
